Though she was born in Stockholm, Sweden, Helen Iocovozzi is a descendent of one of Savannah’s oldest families. Helen’s 9th great grandfather was James Habersham (1712 – 1775) who was a pioneering merchant and statesman in the British North American colonization of Georgia. She previously worked as a decorator in the retail business in Stockholm. After Helen moved to the states she married Savannah realtor and art aficionado Kim Iocovozzi in 1993; they have four children. Once her 4 kids were a little older she decided she wanted to join her husband and become a Real Estate agent and join the Judge Realty team. Given her husband’s successful career, she was well acquainted with Judge and the real estate industry. Helen and her husband Kim work as partners here at Judge. Helen loves the challenge of finding the perfect home for a new client whether it is a historic home downtown, a house on the Island or a vacation property on Tybee. When she is not showing property Helen enjoys long walks in the woods with her beloved dogs or spending a day on the boat with her family. Some of her favorite places to go explore are Wassaw and Little Tybee. The raw beauty of our barrier islands is something we are so lucky to have and should be treasured.
"Over the past 5 years, Helen Iocovozzi of your agency has been my realtor in three transactions. I am a retired “snow bird” from the Boston area. For the past 5 years I’ve lived half the time on Wilmington Island and half the time in Quincy, Massachusetts. Helen helped me in my first purchase of a condo at 22 River Trace Court five years ago. I recently sold that condo through Helen as I had recently upgraded to a town house at 12 Scuppers Court in the Wilmington Island Townehomes complex. Helen was my realtor in the purchase of the town home.
Helen has always proven to be helpful, knowledgeable, pleasant, and friendly with me in my real estate dealings. When necessary, she can be aggressive when representing my interests.
I am particularly grateful for her help in my recent sale of 22 River Trace Court. The buyer’s home inspection resulted in the need to fix a couple of things at the condo. As I was back in Massachusetts, Helen took on the responsibility of finding good workmen, scheduling the work, and letting them in the unit to do their work. Without Helen, I don’t think I would have the knowledge and time to get the work done as quickly and as good as she did. Helen relieved me of all the worries.
I think you are fortunate to have a real estate professional like Helen as a member of your agency. I have and will highly recommend Helen and your agency to anyone." - John Sheenan
